CSD17 VIDEOCONFERENCES

Lacanian Compass has been hosting open Video Conferences since 2008. This activity is a way for our members and colleagues from across the United States to gather together using technology for collaborative work, in conjunction with our colleagues from the World Association of Psychoanalysis across the globe, who we usually invite as Guest Speakers.

The activity is dedicated every year to presentations and discussions on the theme for the upcoming Clinical Study Days, as a preparatory activity for the Study Days.

Our usual format is for the Guest Speaker to give a talk for about 45 or 50 minutes followed by a conversation with the participants. We generally meet between 90 to 120 minutes at 11 am, Eastern Time, on Sundays, usually trough the Zoom platform. The participation is free of charge.
