LOCUS

LOCUS (Lacanian Orientation Center of the United States)

The Mission of LOCUS is to transmit the teachings of psychoanalysis in the Lacanian Orientation in the United States through creative and pragmatic programs that present the theory and practice of psychoanalysis as invented by Sigmund Freud, elaborated by Jacques Lacan, and oriented by Jacques-Alain Miller.

The Center offers courses for anyone with an interest in Lacanian psychoanalysis, with an explicit intent to provide teaching to participants in other programs of Lacanian Compass. These courses are offered not only to individuals already on a path of clinical training, but also to anyone interested, including those college students who have discovered an interest in psychoanalysis, so as to provide a path by which to explore this interest and potentially pursue clinical training.

Classes are held weekly on Tuesdays at 8 PM, Eastern Time.
These courses are open and have a fee.
